Wii Media Center X is a free multimedia server developed by Red Kawa. It allows you to stream certain types of pictures, music, videos and files from your computer (where the server is running) to your Nintendo Wii. It runs on most major operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Nintendo have dismissed reports emanating from France that Wii Sports 2 is already in the works, stating that the reported chatter was purely ‘rumour and speculation’.

Eurogamer.net cite NGC France as confirming that numero two was in the works, incorporating new sports such as swimming, basketball, and more besides.

Nintendo has bet the company on a radical new approach to gaming. Gameplay, they said, is really about interactions, not graphics. The Wii Remote gives players new things to do, which means it challenges us designers to come up with those things.

Furthermore, it takes away functionality found on other consoles. Instead of the eleven buttons, two analog joysticks, and a D-pad of the PS3 controller, it has only six buttons and a D-pad.
